The Roller Coaster

Riding the roller coaster
We white knuckle the bar
Get accustom to the fear
Washed in a thousand tears
They subside then float
My invisible cataract cloak
Lifting to reveal flames that choke
Hide a face
reveal the scars
Help you fly away so far
Don't touch that grenade
All I can do is serenade
And wave goodbye
I can’t even cry now
The wind begins to howl
Storm clouds gather
No time to grab a coat
Just my invisible cataract cloak
Become one with the rain
And you feel joy in our pain
Ride again, it never ends
