The big forehead girl needs bangs, I always say...

....but here I am, with a large heart of a forehead, and currently no bangs. Sure bangs were not "in" for a while but I'm seeing them a lot now days. I tend to cut my hair like my pastor's wife Delynn's (yes, everything about me is a knockoff of someone thinner and more beautiful)but she doesn't "need" bangs. She has a great forehead and her widows peak doesn't make her look like Eddie Monster like mine does. Unfortunately for me, I have what I call "bumpy" hair. It's more frizzy and unruly then curly. Bangs don't cooperate in that environment, they don't like to straiten. Of course my boss just gave me a ceramic flat iron for my birthday (which is August 10th by the way) so I guess I could try and get them under control with that. I don't know, I'm just not happy with it right now. The bottom line is, hair is important to a 38 yr old, borderline overweight, O.C.D. mom! I will not give in to the "cut your hair your too old for that" thinking of yester year, I'm young, I have a one year old for Pete's sake! SO, what to do? Give me your opinion.

Sue, (read this with your "artist" voice) I think you need some ever so slight bangs- a little uneven- just some wisps. It'll change your look just enough. (Now in my voice) Let your junk grow out a little more. Fall is coming; long hair girl in boots. Oh yeah.

I think you should do the Demi Moore "Jane" cut and forget about it.

Maybe you could go for some slight bangs but leave some weight on them. Wavy hair with short bangs in Louisiana humidity is asking for trouble!

You know I look at that forehead everyday (well Mon-Thur) and oh my gosh I never realized how big it really was!! lol Thanks for bringing it to my attention. On Monday we have GOT to take a new pic with your new "banged up look"!!! All said in jest and love!

I like bangs. Speaking as a male (and I am)bangs are quite sexy. Julianne Moore, Courtney Cox are my favorite actresses who once had bangs. My all time favorite is my future wife, Jane Seymore....of course that dude Stacy Ketch (current husband) creates a problem. Sorry I got off the subject. What does Dean think. Post your decision and some pictures.
