My Three Days on the Set of ALVH

I spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday being a saw mill worker in young Abraham Lincoln's 1820 America.

I can't say much about the movie, or post pictures from the set, but I will tell you that I woke up at 3:30am, drove to Lacombe LA, was outside for 12-14 hours a day, in the Louisiana heat (but it was surprisingly breezy, thank you Jesus) wearing 5-7lbs of clothing, sweeping a lakefront sawmill deck with an 1820's broom.. and I have a blister from the three days of sweeping!

My lovely Make-up-free-bonnet-wearing-huge-dress-self will be seen sweeping behind, and reacting to, a very pivotal scene in the young child Abraham Lincoln (and his friend Will's) life. So when the movie, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter is released in June of 2012, look for me in the saw mill scene, I will be the hot looking 43 year old chick with the broom (and I mean Hot in its literal sense :-)

Oh and now that I have been an extra on 5 different productions, I have added "Movie Extra" to my twitter, blog, and Face book profile. (he he he he) This is my life!! I'm pinching myself, cuz' it's SWEET!!
