Michael Guglielmucci is not dying of Cancer

"He preached to thousands about his terminal illness and tugged at hearts with a hit song.
The problem is the pastor wasn't dying at all.
Michael Guglielmucci, who inspired hundreds of thousands of young Christians with his terminal cancer "battle", has been exposed as a fraud.

I am sad. Ugh. It just hurts my heart. We can be sad and disappointed when people fall. There's nothing wrong with that. We fall and we make people sad and disappointed.

Was it fame? Money? What would make someone do something so twisted?

I'm always shocked. Heck, my life is full of very fallen people, I was not raised in Polly Anna goodness at all, I have fallen MANY times, so I shouldn't be shocked when people fall but I always am.

Lately it's one right after the other it seems.

I Know God will use this to get everyone back in focus, yet again. Who is perfect? He is. Not us, ANY of us. We are miserable sinners who in a second could deny Him (Peter) , kill a man for his wife (David), offer our daughters to rapist (Lot) or lie about dying from Cancer. God of the second chance, be with the Guglielmucci family. Restore, heal, give them grace. Be with us all Jesus. Help us all to follow you, to live for you. To resist the temptations that surround us. You are our only hope. Amen.

Some people will start looking at who they are suppose to(Jesus) and some will turn away from him. The ones who turn away were looking for an excuse anyway.

Ok, for the little kid who took it upon themselves to publicly correct you, I have 2 things to say:

1) It's very impolite to correct anyone older than you -- especially, publicly.

2) Since you are the "grammar police," you should know that she is Mrs. (Capital "M") Carole (Capital "C")

Carole's grammar-buddy. =)

Dear Mrs. Turner:
This is very sad, I hope this man gets help. It sounds like he has Munchausen Syndrome (psychartic disorder).

I hated hearing that news....the good side of it is ..."Hey he wrote a great song."
Maybe he's highly needy for attention or yes had that Munchausen Syndrome. We know someone with that and it's a tad weird. I feel bad for him...but hopefully he will get some help now and find mercy and restoration from the church world as well along the way.
