Anonymous

Tonight at Refuge I was trying to enter into worship but I kept obsessing about who "anonymous" could be. Why they wont just call me or E-mail me? Who would be so mean? Then I heard what Alliece said to me the other night "If the devil can get you distracted, he's keeping you from doing what God has called you to do". I WAS distracted, totally by this "anonymous" and I know it's the devil and I was letting him win. So, I prayed, ask God to help me, forgive me for obsessing about this.

Right then we started singing "If God is For us, who can be against us" WOW, God's word met me right there. As I sang it over and over, I felt it more and more. Then Tweeze said how this song is more like a battle cry, we are telling the enemy that he has no real power in our lives because God is for us and therefor NO ONE can really be against us. "All things work together for the good..."

and so, I worshiped and I will fight this distraction. It's not the first and it will not be the last but God will use it to HIS glory, all of it, cuz' I will give it to Him. Love, no matter what and keep on keepin' on doing what He has called me to do, no matter how many "anonymous" mean people come my way.

Carole,

Don't let the comments of someone who is obviously a bitter person, get you down. It is no secret where you get your strength, from God. Your blog is a source of inspiration for me, i thouroghly enjoy reading it and I appreciate your servant heart. If everyone could devote as much time to Gods cause what a great world this would be. Keep going strong,, please!!! P.s the only reason I am showing as anonymous on this comment is beacause i can't figure out how to post any other way.
thanks again,, Chad Horne

Carole, your comments about Miss Anonymous remind me of Proverbs 27:6 - "Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses."

If Miss Anonymous is a friend/acquaintance and has an "issue" with you, i.e., does not feel like you are glorifying God in some area of your life, she should first pray and ask the Lord if it's His will that she hold you accountable, and then if so, go to you personally (not in front of your blogging audience) and share her concerns. Obviously by the tone of her comment she does not love/care about you and also is a gossip.

Recently I was sharing something with one of my best friends and I told her I felt like the woman in the Bible who goes to the judge (my husband in this case) over and over pleading her case, and he becomes weary of her and gives her what she wants. My friend honestly and lovingly told me that to her, I seemed more like a dripping faucet and I was sinning against him. Wow, that really stung and I was very hurt by it. HOWEVER, I also felt SO loved, because it was from the Lord that she told me that, and it was the truth.

There was no love in Miss Anonymous towards you, no grace, and no truth. Therefore, you must NOT let it get a foothold in your thought life and instead replace it with, "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely..."

And do what Paul says, "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. Press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called you heavenward in Christ Jesus."

And for what it's worth, we would *not* have financially supported Abel's adoption if we had any misgivings about the way y'all spend your money. Mostly my husband (and I'm sure you know that about him). No, you're not perfect in that area, but neither are we.

And lastly, I think Evangeline not bathing to raise money is *brilliant* and that's why we signed on to support her as well.

Press on...

Carole,

I completely agree with everyone who has responded! There was no love in anything that person said to you and when there is no love, there is no value!

For the record, in just the short time I've gotten to know you, you have been such an inspiration to me! When I look at you and your family, I truly see Jesus in all of you!

Keep your focus beautiful princess!!! You're doing AMAZING things to increase the household of Jesus!!!!!!

Love you,
Wendy
