Words to live by

When riding a snow ball there are things you have to tell yourself, or at least I have to tell myself.

Not my words but words from wise people, words God uses to speak to me.

Last night at the Dream Center Vision Night I suddenly felt so unable, nonspiritual, way to human and unqualified for what is a head. Self started talking to me about how hard this road is, it told me all about the easy road.

BUT then I heard..

"WHEN YOU FEEL THE MOST UNABLE, UNQUALIFIED,THAT IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE FOR GOD TO DO A MIRACLE. HE WILL SHOW UP AND SHOW OFF. "

I don't even remember who said it, Dino, Mark Batterson, but nonetheless, it is TRUTH. Truth that comes alive only by faith.

I think about all the people who have stepped out, Ben and Susan Rogers come to mind, as well as many others. Now they speak of how they felt so unable to do what God asked, yet, they did it and are still doing it and GOD is getting the Glory.

Natalie, she is leaving next month, moving to Africa for at least a year. It's a huge step for her and I am inspired by her.

Faith that moves mountains, that's what I see all around me.

The bottom line is the easy road is not easy, when you love God and want to serve Him the easy road is death.

"BE FLEXIBLE, DON'T LOSE YOUR MIND."

I don't know if any other sentence has effected me as much as that one. It's such wisdom for me.
I have a tendency to not be flexible and lose my mind often.

With this new Dream Center location starting up, much flexibility and much sanity is needed. It's starting from a super foundation but building is still a faith process. We all have to go with the flow, let God work it out in every area. Trust and follow His lead.

I have to say, I so love it. The excitement. It's overwhelming but wonderful.

And finally, God is all about speaking to us with His word. I can't imagine living without it.

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your best interests, but also to the interests of others." Philippians 2:3-4
