Generation X

refer to people born between 1965 and 1976. Most of them are children of the "baby boomers".

Some statements that define Gen Xers, according to an article by Jerry Solomon @ Probe Ministry;

Personal relationships count. Institutions don't.
The process is more important than the product.
Enjoying people and life opportunities is more important than productivity, profitability, or achievement.
Change is good.
The development of character is more crucial than achievement.
Each individual must assume responsibility for his or her own world.
Whenever necessary, gain control and use it wisely.
Don't waste time searching for absolutes. There are none.
One person can make a difference in the world but not much.
Spiritual truth may take many forms.
Express your rage.
Technology is our natural ally.

Generation Y

Refers to people born approximately between 1977 and 1997.
In much of the world, Generation Y has become the largest demographic group.

Distinctions of Generation Y

They are cynical.
Started out disillusioned.
They came of age during events such as 9/11 and the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and have little trust in government or other authority figures.
Has a non-existent attention span. This is a generation of remote controls, hyperlinks, and MTV.
Loves consumerism. They have grown up accustomed to businesses trying to win their favor.
They are more diverse than previous generations.
Used to chaos. They expect to have multiple careers, homes, and social circles throughout their lifetimes.
This generation follows the REM motto: “It’s the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine.”

CT, i can remember braces - twice - raisin bran was out of the question! Not to mention anything else beyond the consistency of yogurt. Steamed vegis of all types is the way to go. You will notice and improvement in the movement too with God's green vegis. More later, it is early. 2:16 am!
